Translating is sometimes stressful LOL but this time, it is my one of my stress relievers LOL since my midterm exams just finished last week and this week is for the results LOL luckily there's this whole presscon thing of Koisuru Vampire and Taiga looks so good T.T plus doing this translation helped me feel like I'm in another world LOL
I tried challenging myself, where I have to do a proper translation of a magazine interview while school is on-going, and I DID =) YEY~!! Of course my pace is different...a lot slower compared when it's my vacation...but challenging myself and being able to do it...this is shiawase =)
Sorry for the long personal intro LOL anyway, talking about the article itself, my fave part is the "Friendship Love" =) it is the part where they showed their love and trust for the group and the members =)

•My first love was in preschool. She was a cute girl with big rounded eyes, and puffy cheeks. I can still remember that I kissed her cheeks (laugh). From the past, I don’t have much of an ideal type. Even though I liked someone who is my type, I think it is nice to notice someone and see their kindness. Then, I will be surprised when I see her family oriented side. For example, when she folds the laundries neatly, and does well at cooking. I think even if she cannot do those things but she tries it with all her might for my sake, then I will be super happy. I do not have foods that I particularly like or do not like, so whatever she cooks, I will eat it (laugh). I want us to talk to each other more, I want to be with her more since I like her. After noticing my feelings, I will think of various ways on how I will get closer with her. Isn’t that the most enjoyable thing?
•I want to convey my feelings to the one that I like. When we go on a date, I want for us to go to various places. It will be so much fun if I am with the one that I like, so anywhere we go is okay. The date that I am yearning for is that we will go on a drive and will reach the sea. Then, we will stroll and will sit on the sandy beach, and we will talk about silly things. Someday, I will take her to my dad’s family home and will take her along Las Vegas. I will also introduce her to my grandmother and cousins and we will all have fun together. I think it will be the happiest moment.
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. For me, SixTONES is home. I can talk of things that I want without getting worried. I really like that each one’s character is scattered all over the place (having different personalities). We talk a lot in dressing room, every day is so much fun. Even though we’ve been together for a long time already, it is still interesting that we get surprised and say “you act like this!?” Each one has his own delicate side, but when someone is in trouble, we naturally help each other. I want to try doing a lot of things like variety shows and radio shows; it looks like it will be interesting to act in a drama with everyone again. Having conversation like “how many years ago is Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou again?” We list down the things that we want to challenge doing, SixTONES dake ni (SixTONES only = only SixTONES can do it)! (laugh)
•LOVE NOW. I always love music, particularly, there is always music playing next to me. It already looks like a part of my body. From Japanese songs to western songs, the songs that I like are in shuffle. My favorite Kinki Kids’ song “Samare Kadas ~another oasis~” has a sentimental value to me. It is the song that I sang when I chose my solo song for the first time. Even now, I still sing it in karaoke.
Yugo Kouchi
•My first love was in kindergarten, we attended the class together. We meet in the neighborhood and will walk together to the kindergarten. We are the smallest in class so we are always in front of the line and are holding hands. She is a cheerful and active girl. We also attended elementary together. I had always liked her until she transferred to another school. When we were elementary students, we go to the forest and play, she is really energetic. From then, my ideal type is someone who is active. But when I have turned into adult recently, I think having me-time is also super important. Thinking about bikes that I like, doing gardening as a hobby, there are a lot of things that I want to try doing. So my ideal type now is someone who will understand my hobbies (laughs). A woman who has something that she properly wants to do would be cool, we will respect each other’s personal time and that would be nice, right? Then, when a girl does something unexpectedly, for example, suddenly a pastry was handed to me saying “I made some sweets, let’s eat it”, I will be kind of conscious.
•I am the type who wants to look at the girl that I like at a distant, so I don’t think my feelings will be conveyed. But, if I’m serious about her, I want to make up my mind and confess. When we go out together, to be told “I want to go here” or “I want to eat this” while strolling in the street would be fun. I want to grant my girlfriend’s favors, it is ideal if we can say to each other our real feelings.
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. We (SixTONES’ members) all like interesting and fun things. Anyway, it’s fun to be with them. Ther are a lot of ideas during meetings, even when the subject changes, there will be new ideas arising from there too. When I’m with SixTONES, we don’t run out of things to talk about. Our mood is nice too. Even though we are idols, I think having affinity to the members is a strength too. Since we’ve been together for a long time now, we greatly understand each other. Whatever the situation the member is facing, we’ll be able to pick up the situation immediately. When I’m super sleepy, they’ll come to me and will gently say “Kouchi, go to sleep~!” then they will play with me and wake me up. In addition to that, we understand each other so I think this is member-ai (love).
•LOVE NOW. I love that we’ve been doing a play together with Snow Man. My smartphone was unusable for a short time, when it was restored, there were 7000 messages, 4000 of them were from Juri. It is cute to be that hard working (laughs).

•When I was in grade 1, I was loved at first sight to a girl and that left me an impression. I liked her so much that I told my dad “I like that girl” during sports day. And then, my dad called her and he took a photo of us together (laugh). I can still remember that that photo was so important that it was placed on the desk. Because if not, then maybe I’m too spoiled to stand with (laughs). Like that, when she acts like a spoiled child sometimes, it will surely make my heart throb I think.
•If I like someone, I want to properly convey my feelings to her. It will be nerve-wracking but I want to tell it to her personally. If it’s through mail, I will think of things like “Did the message reach her? Is she reading it right now?” I will have mental stress while waiting for her reply (laughs). My ideal is a natural and unpretentious to each other kind of relationship. We are just like friends but I want to do something valuable during birthdays and anniversaries. If I’m going to do a surprise, I think it would be wonderful if we can cherish together the special day.
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. I think all of the members are genuine. Including me, when someone thinks too much, others can understand. If anyone is in trouble, the members and the fans will surely support that person. We all went through trials, and I can feel that we all know the value of those things. The six of us will constantly go to the same direction so I have a strong faith in them. Since we have been put to a group, I can reassure that everyone have grown steadily. I have to work hard as well and be motivated. Making advantage of our different personalities, I think it is good to try challenging different things from now on too.
•LOVE NOW. I really like writing songs. What is important when I write songs is for it to be a straight and powerful song message. So when I had received a letter saying “you have pushed the back of my dream” after listening to “SUNRISE”, I am so happy. As I was helped by a song, I want to make songs that will be able to save someone from now on too.

•I might have been aggressive in making a move to the girl I liked. The first girl who I came to like is a healthy girl who looks good with short hair. She was a quiet girl so I approached her. After that, a beautiful girl was attending a painting class in the neighborhood. To be able to get close to her, I also started attending that painting class. However, when I got closer to her, my feelings for her were gone so I immediately stop attending the painting class. It’s because it’s far from you that it looks beautiful. •To be frank, I am not a popular guy! During Valentine’s Day when I was in grade 1, I didn’t receive any chocolate. Even though I had so many friends who are girls, it was far from romance. It’s hard to believe that I’m aggressive during my kindergarten days. The only thing that I could remember is that there was one time when I was alone in our school’s veranda playing a game on phone, I received a mail from the girl asking “what are you doing right now?” then I replied “I’m in veranda”. Then she appeared suddenly and sat beside me. We take turns in playing the game, and my heart skipped a bit. It’s a memory when I ate delicious sesame oil flavored potato chips everyday (laugh).
•I think a woman walking together with a man, who seems to be in a relationship with her, shines so much. It might be that the confidence of being loved by the person you love radiates. Also, a woman, who is with a child, sparkles. Is protecting someone included in motherhood? When I look at a person, I look at that person’s aura rather than her appearance. People whose corners of their mouth are turned down, or those who are expressionless and do not know what is inside of them…I am often attracted to them. I like to imagine that when I got married to a person like that, she will greet me “welcome home <3” with smile (laughs).
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. From others’ point of view, we may look like a group with “what are they aiming?” We don’t yet have a place to aim at. But it is good to only look forward, and they are making me believe in it.
•LOVE NOW. Recently, I did a curly wet hairstyle and it surprisingly became a talk. “Speaking of Matsumura Hokuto, his image with his “hair hanging on the side of his ear hairstyle” is strong, did he come to LOVE perm?”

•My first love was when I was in kindergarten. In a sleepover party, a photo of us holding hands while sleeping was taken and it was in an album. I can’t remember her name, it was a distant memory, but there were a lot of photos taken where we were next to each other and looked like having fun. It feels like my first love is just an illusion (laughs). When I entered elementary, I had a close friend who is a girl. She was a good athlete. It became a habit that every Sunday morning at 9 o’clock, I go to her house by bicycle to play and watch anime. Nowadays, it looks like an example of “close friends” kind of relationship. But when Kamenashi (Kazuya) kun asked me “Don’t you have someone who you like?”, her face came across my mind and I kind of reminded of her.
•I also had a one-sided love experience. But I cut my feelings for her, on purpose, I acted someone who she will hate. But it did not go as what was been planned, and I regretted my actions, so I don’t recommend this to do (laugh). Facing love with honest feelings is the best. Thinking about love, it’s been years where I don’t wish for something like “I want a love life.” More than anything else, it is fun to kill time with others like (Hirano) Sho and (Iwahashi) Genki! Is it a bad idea to be with guys? (Laughs) Even though I’ve turned 20, we still do silly things, but we go serious occasionally. I am proud that I have them as my friends, I think that it is a very happy thing.
•I surely want to get married someday! We will have 2 children, a boy and a girl would be nice. My ideal wife is someone who is good at her hobbies and at her work, someone who is carrying the thinking of “I will do my best!”
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. Who I am today is because of everyone’s presence. They just go with the flow even when I do something silly, so I can move on the stage freely. During “Bakaleya”, we I felt like we were neighboring companions who were living in the same mansion. But when we became SixTONES, I feel like we are a one big family living under the same roof. The 6 of us are going to continue sharing fun times and tough times~
•LOVE NOW. Jesse! My love for him exceeds as a friend, I love him (laugh). When I am with Jesse, my tiredness fades away. My tension goes up, but when we are going to be apart, I suddenly become tired (laughs). Even if there is no camera, both of us are doing one-shot gags. Then, when we are watching videos of our performances he comments like “Juri is cool here. Hokuto’s jump is high!” I love Jesse who loves the members <3

•My first love was my kindergarten teacher. She was the 1st girl who I met who is kind and is like a mother, it was an unconditional love (laughs). If I was aware of “proper love”, I wonder when my first love was. I was in baseball club and my partner was in track and field club. After club activities, I’ll push her bicycle going home…that kind of relationship. We don’t go out together. Since we are not interested to each other at that time. We just consulted to each other. Then, the people we are thinking of are together! I can say that we are “dumped fellows” (laugh), but we only stayed together for a number of months then we naturally got separated from each other. That kind of flow.
•I want for a girl to be spoiled and I want to rely on her. It’s not that I want to be clingy, but for example, when I am busy with work to the point that I cannot meet my girlfriend. I want her to not hold back her lonely feelings and say “I want to meet you.” With all my might, I will speed up to finish my work (laugh). Not only limited to love, I do not want to reason that “I do not have time.” Since I am a lazy person, it is such a clever saying. A person who can follow me who is useless would be good. Someone who is like my mom (laughs). Someone who gets her grips together would be nice. I cannot read maps, as for someone who has this kind of weakness, I can say to her that “after all, I have to be with you.” (laughs)
•My ideal couple image is just plain and simple. During day-offs, we are just staying at home, laid-back, playing games in smartphone (laughs). But I want for us to properly remember the special day. •FRIENDSHIP LOVE. The best business partners. I might be misunderstood by saying it like this but it is because that each one of us is good at different things. We are guys who are not all-rounder that have been gathered together. Rather than aiming for championship, we are going to collect first prize at 6 different competitions. Do our image look like in the movie “Suicide Squad” where the villains gathered? It is extremely cool…(laughs)
•LOVE NOW. The park at my home town. When I was in elementary, I played card games with my friend in that park. The basketball court where I used to play is still there too. Until now, when I want to take a break I go there casually. I sit in the bench and do rap in my head. It is the place that I LOVE.

•My ideal couple image is just plain and simple. During day-offs, we are just staying at home, laid-back, playing games in smartphone (laughs). But I want for us to properly remember the special day. We will dress fashionably and will go to eat in a restaurant. Without overdoing things, a person who I can be with naturally would be nice.
•FRIENDSHIP LOVE. The best business partners. I might be misunderstood by saying it like this but it is because that each one of us is good at different things. We are guys who are not all-rounder that have been gathered together. Rather than aiming for championship, we are going to collect first prize at 6 different competitions. Do our image look like in the movie “Suicide Squad” where the villains gathered? It is extremely cool…(laughs)
•LOVE NOW. The park at my home town. When I was in elementary, I played card games with my friend in that park. The basketball court where I used to play is still there too. Until now, when I want to take a break I go there casually. I sit in the bench and do rap in my head. It is the place that I LOVE.
